my attorney filed case I don’t know about service center

Please ask your attorney the next steps to expedite. Right now you can just wait! you have to take infopass appointment by calling USCIS and go to local office and get your passport stamp when it’s close to expiring. I did mine recently! And service center means which city/state you live and your receipt notice should have a number which tells which service center your case is.

@Seema bid..then you need not to worry about your extension once your i485 has been approved and that you are in possession of your EAD CARD and SSN, You good 👍

I751 is to remove condition on GC. Well Seema, nothing to worry about. I am in similar situation. I filled in May,2019 and since July 2020 I've been waiting for interview. what you will do is, call uscis and let the machine redirect you to- Requesting info pass. when u are scheduled, take your passport with you to uscis office and they will stamp a page saying awaiting I-751. That stamp is as good as your extension letter. if u must travel oversea ensure to go along with your expired GC, extension letter and Offcourse your Stamped passport.

@Austa Ad your expired GC is destroyed when you get the I-551 stamp on your passport. I’ve been waiting for 30 months, I did my interview March 2020 and still nothing! my status still shows “interview was scheduled”. Vermont center

heloo, I'm vermont ctr as well. My expired I-551 is Greencard [GC]. no one destroyed it.

I filled on Oct 2018 still waiting for interview 🙃..status same we will schedule your interview soon but no dates or notice yet ..we just hired attorney and filled n 400 that's what he suggested.

I file mine December 2018 and did my fingerprints February 6 /2019 and February 13/2020 I received request for more evidence and I sent it on April 18 /2020 they updated we are ready to scheduled for interview , sends then I m still waiting and no answer yet

@ Dixie girl, no the officer didnt even ask for my expired Greencard. she only ask for a means to identify myself and I tendered my driver's license.

@Austa Ad, she asked for mine and told me it’s mandatory to submit your expired card. same thing happened to my friend. u where lucky then. she collected my card and stamped my passport

@Alphadjo Barry, I think there’s a major delay with 2018 filers. I had my interview in March 2020 (No RFE), and i filed August 2018. still waiting for response
