what’s the difference between lockbox and service center.
Hello guys I sent my I-140 form to the Texas SC, however I got the notice receipt from Nebraska LockBox I want to know what’s the difference between these kinds of locations. Looks like they transferred my case once arrived. Not sure if it’s a good-bad signal

d "LB" refers to a "Lockbox." These terms indicate the location where your application is received and where a receipt number is generated. The USCIS Service Centers and Lockboxes process different types of immigration benefits, such as applications for employment-based visas, permanent residency, and naturalization. The receipt number is an important tracking tool and it's essential to keep it handy to check the status of your application. The following is a great image found from the internet explaining the difference of receipt number between LB and SC: LB vs SC

@Wilmer G. thank you for your response. So that means my process is going to be processed in this LB? or it’s going to be transferred at some point to a SC?
