Interview scheduled just a month after submission, is this normal?

Hi all, my EB1A based I-485 just got scheduled for an interview in mid-May. My case was received at the beginning of March and I just did my biometrics last week. This morning it says my case has been scheduled for an interview and according to Emma, it’s already at the local Field Office. May I ask if this is normal? I certainly want to get my green card as soon as possible but this is way too fast to the point it makes me nervous, wondering how come it can so quickly go from NBC to the local Field Office. I would say my case is very simple and straightforward with no dependents. But wouldn’t I have gotten the interviewed waived entirely? Has anyone experienced something similar? Thanks. Edit: Now two Emmas in a row have said that my case is still at NBC. So I have no idea what’s going on.

what is happening?

I applied on 10/12/2024 and received an email on the same day saying, "We have taken an action on your case." I got the same email again on 10/13/2024. Then, on 03/28/2025, we received the same email, but absolutely nothing changed in the case status on the USCIS website—it still says "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent." Is this normal? Do you know what this could mean? Sorry to bother you with these questions! my case is I-130 CR1

From 19 months to 13, how accurate this is?

I logged in to my uscis account and I see that I-130 & I-485 both have changed from 19 to 13 months for an estimated case decision this change is from January to March. How accurate is this estimate? Also biometrics was done early January and I-765 has been approved as well. We are also still waiting on I-131 with no progress but just “Case Was Received” without any chnage in 2 months. Should we call to ask for an update?

I got a text message saying my case was received 4 days ago but I didn’t get an email with this receipt even though I signed up for e-notifications. Could someone tell me why and how long before I receive this email please 🙏

hey, I just recently found this community here and I keep seeing that most of the cases got “case is being actively reviewed by uscis” after a few weeks/months after submission We submitted our case on April 13, 2024 but ever since then we haven’t heard anything and it is still saying “case was received and a receipt notice was sent” In case it is important: my husband is a US citizen, we submitted the form online and I am still in my home country, we are doing consular processing Did anyone else experience this?
