Filling I-134A with missing passport
I am trying to complete form I 134-a for a minor, who is still awaiting his Cuban passport. His mother, who is bringing him has hers, but the child’s passport is delayed due to extreme requests at the moment. Can I submit both forms for mother and child, but send the child’s without the passport info? Has anyone been successful submitting a parole request without passport information? Thank you. #cubanparole #i134A#missingpassport#cubanpassport #I-134A
applying GC when married with US citizen
Hi,
I am a US citizen and plan to get married with non-US citizen and tryign to figure out what is the best option for us.
Background
Me: US citizen
My girlfriend: hold a valid B2 visa.
Question
1. Is it possible for her to enter to US with B2 visa and get married after?
2. If so, how long we should wait before getting married after she enters to US?
3. What is the best option to apply her a Green card? Between Adjustment of Status (in US) or Consular process (aborad). Or what is the pros and cons for these two options?
4. Let's say if we go for the AOS process (apply in US), how long it takes to get SSN and EAD? while waiting for GC, can she go back to her home country? and also if she can go back to her home country... what visa she needs if she wants to come to US? is the B2 visa still valid? or she needs another visa?
5. What if we go for Consular process, can she enter to US with B2 visa? or she needs to apply for CR1 visa? and can she also apply for SSN and EAD while living aboard?
I know I have a lot of questions, but any help is highly appreciate.
Form I-824
Hi Everyone, I filed form I-130 and I made a mistake on the application as I clicked the option for my parents to come here file adjustment of status and also for my parent to apply for Visa in their country, so due to that mistake, I now need to file form I-824 to have USCIS send the petition to the NVC. Since I am the petitioner, where in the application would I need to sign? Would I need to sign under Applicant in page 4-5? Please help me 🙏🏽
Derivative i485 | Using biometric notice instead of receipt notice
Hello everyone. I have a pending i485. Now, to file i485 for my spouse, I need to send evidence of my pending case. I didn’t get the receipt notice but I have the biometric appointment notice. Can I use this as evidence of my pending case. It includes almost the same information as the receipt notice.
Has anyone used biometric notice instead of receipt notice as evidence for derivative application? Please share your experiences.
Thanks #i485
Prosecutorial discretion
Hello dear Community
I have a question regarding PD and termination of removal proceedings....
I have been married since 2018, I got NTA in January 2019( asylum referred to Immigration Court)...
Due to COVID , my Master Calendar Hearing was rescheduled twice for July 2023...
However; since birocracies in my country of birth combined with COVID restrictions, I was not able to file I-130, because I couldn't obtain my birth certificate....
Now I finally got it, and I want to file I -130 in February....
My question is, does someone have any knowledge or information on requesting a PD(prosecutorial discretion) before I file I-130 , so I can terminate the case or at least administratively close, so I can file the whole AOS package together concurrently....
My lawyer is not very supportive, she insists that I have to file I -130 first, and even in that case the ICE attorney might not agree to terminate, (cause my I-130 will be only pending, and not approved...)
But I've heard from sooo many people experiences, that these days ICE or even judges themselves are just willing to dismiss cases so they can clear the backlog....
I'm really confused and beg anyone for advice please...
Do I really need to file I -130 or I can request PD or termination with the judge first.
(Clean background and no criminal records in my history)...
Thank you all, and apologies for the long message 🙏

i824
Hello everyone,
please I want to make an enquiry. my i130 petition has been approved but I needed to file an i824 so my documents will be transferred to NVC. while I was filling my i1824, I left the questions part that didn’t apply to me instead of writing N/A (Not applicable) on them. do you think this will be an issue?
