131 went from case decision back to attend biometrics if necessary
Hi, I just looked at my USCIS account and under my tab for the 131, my progress, it had said for a very long time that the current step was case decision.
Now it is saying attend biometrics if needed. Has anyone ever had this happen? I know the current times in it are unreliable.
My Social Security shows a card was produced today. Very happy about that.

I just saw the same thing on my I-485, I don’t know what that means and now my progress went from one week to 9 months.

@Lilian A Hi, I know the countdown does not mean anything. I reached the max so many times on my 765. It was odd to see to attend biometrics again. Maybe it got looked at. Do you know which field office will get your 485?

@Kingsley B , the agent said my case is still at NBC, but if it should be transferred, it will come to field office close to me which is Newark NJ

@Lilian A Hi sorry for my delay in response. My tracking number is also unavailable. Maybe they don’t put one on it? It will be interesting to see how soon we are approved with our timeline being very similar.

@M A Hi, it went back to attend interview of nessasary but my time went from 4 months to 13 months…..So not sure about that. It is always off.

@Kingsley B ,it just feels like we have the same agent taking care of our cases😀. I went to attend interview if necessary with estimated timeline of 13 months🤣. it was 3 months before all these but I don’t even care because the day my work authorization was approved,I was 4 months until case decision. Some people said they call USCIS to get their tracking number.
