I Filed May 2022, yesterday my lawyer sent me an update on my case that was transferred to another office and she told me that even though I am about to complete 3 years in VAWA, she did not see an approval soon (possibly at the end of the year) since USCIS is working on the applications for September 2021, we are still waiting, we need pray 🙏 good luck and be patient!

Can anyone please help me in regards to not receiving the physical notice for REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE, today makes 18 days since I got the notification, I spoke to my lawyer yesterday and she told me she would check the mailbox and message me,haven't heard from her as yet

@Blessed By God you can call the USCIS ask to copy of rfe than they can send your email adress which is I got that way

Thats long for your work permit. If your i765 is category C31 it takes long until your VAWA Is approved. Your lawyer should have applied C09 category

@bahi mansi basically if you don’t receipt your rfe more 2 weeks, you can call to uscis let them know you dont received your rfe. they gonna ask your e mail adress and than they can send your copy of rfe to your e mail adress. just call

mine is 3 years 1 month Waiting for approval.my I 485 was transferred to another office in January.

no news is good news. you are coming to the end of your vawa journey. so give it 4-6 months more

I filed 2020 , still waiting…..

March coming makes it 3yrs since I submitted. I got rfe respond a year later due to lawyer change, have not received any prima facie. my latest update is name has been updated and that’s from last year August. since then nothing……… I don’t know if I should call them or not.sighhhhh

@kymm B Hiii! did you take one year to respond to their RFE?

@God is good yes my first lawyer withold the rfe letter from me and when I contacted a new lawyer he wouldn’t give them. so my new lawyer had to do an amendment to VAWA.

@God is good it’s a miracle how it was not denied. my first lawyer had send through a shell application no supporting documents nothing and he had everything.

@kymm B yesss it was a miracle they didn’t denied your application but I am happy for you that you got a new lawyer. I don’t know, just my point of view, I would try to reach out to them or to the senator of my state to help me with that. the senator helped making my application be processed faster. good luck!! 🙏

approval from February 2022. a few days ago

I'm July 2022, still waiting, but update on my case is was transferred to another office a few days ago.

So far I've seen 2 approvals from 2022 without expedite

@God is good I’ve tried contacting uscis twice and on both occasions they claimed I failed the verification step. don’t know why… I did change of address from last year which my lawyer said she did so I don’t know if that is what is blocking me. Help plsss
