About mandamus
I am going to do mandamus I am over 45 months.. but one lawyer said $5k to my friend I will call lawyers tomorrow and talked with them but have question
if I do mandamus with lawyer lets say $5k that would be only for vawa 360 or it will also cover 485 form or they would charge extra for 485 please any information helps thank you

keeping in mind , not all of attorney eligible to do it , has to be certified by federal courts. and being in same state where your application is .

It will only cover 360 IMO. Your 485 time would only begin once 360 is apporved. Even if lawyer agree to file mandamus for 485, don’t do that as you would still be under processing time.
Jim hacking is a good lawyer for lawsuit

@Hope Hope oh no it must be same state? i mean if the lawyer can serve my state but not live here can still do I guess

@jp web no yeah I know that part my question like after approved 360 successful mandamus they will be doing mandamus for 485 so is it gonna be covered for price or do they charge same amount they charge for 360

@tired from waitingg : my application was in Baltimore, I decided to do mandamus, my attorney said he couldn’t do it because my application moved to Charlotte NC, I need to find someone who certified on NC to help me . before do your payment, meke sure he/ she can do it for you . 360 is licate Vermont I thinks.

Keep me posted about mandamus on 360. I asked my later few months back and he said not to do it since I am still at 35 month make

it dont deserve to pay so much money for something that probaply will resolve within the next months, you already waited so long don't do such a favor to oay the system all that money is from what they are profiting for

@Hope Hope did you file for mandamus and what was the outcome and how long did it take uscis to make the decision after lawsuit ?

@jp web yeah i wont be paying nothing more than 5k for both so i will look one for do it both first 360 then 485 for max 5k i will keep posted im 45 months and tired i will do it

@Good vibes For ever but i see people waiting so much longer there are people wait 5 years mine is almost 4 years i wanna start living my life but yes nothing more than 5k hopefully will find one

@Good vibes For ever personally I don’t mind paying, time is more valuable then money to me. I just want to get it over with, as soon as I get out of processing times I am filing lawsuit

try to contact a congressman or congresswoman before you do the mandamus. I contacted a local one and finally my case is moving again
