@Patricia S It went very well! it started with a reading and writing questions “When is Columbus Day”, “Columbus day is in October.” then civics questions the the Yes and No questions from the application. I brought documents with me but I wasn’t asked to present anything. I was approved and put in line for oath ceremony.

@Patricia S Thank you! Good luck on your upcoming interview. Make sure you take supporting documents with you like your most recent taxes and any previous divorce certificates. Also your current passport and green card. Don’t forget the notice letter too.

Hello do you all happen to have insights as to why someone get an interview within 2 months. I filed Feb 28 along with a friend and he is already a citizen, but I haven’t even gotten a notice to interview. I’m wondering if it’s because I am divorced and had to apply under the 5 year rule.

@Luis R In my experience, there’s no reason that we know. I waited for about five months from the day I applied. I saw many other people getting an interview notice within a few weeks. I applied under the 3 year rule. No issues whatsoever. Clean record. everything is perfect. So don’t worry. You’ll get it soon.
