come up with a medical reason BDV is pretty lenient when it comes to medical issues, if you feel rebellious tell them to pound sand.If your i140 has been approved and i485 filed for more than 180 days you can find a new employer and port.

@Cool Dude Tell them it is not required to work for the sponsor until you get the greencard. Several stood their ground. Also, remind them that you paid for this service and not them. There are other threads about BDV forcing their client to work more than one year and telling them not to stop working. Recent bad reviews on google too. It is interesting that those wjo are outside the country waiting for their immigrant visa are not required to start working before they arrive in the country but those inside are required by BDV to start working even when it is not mandatory. How long has your I-140 been approved for?

@Holy Blessings Well it is about $22000 minimum for AOS while about $33000 for consular processing. Yes, you pick the job but it is minimum wage jobs like Mcdonald or janitor for about $10 per hour. The worst part is if you get denied the LC or I-140, you do not get refund back and they just reapply for you which means you have wasted years in the process and Priority date. They require you to work one year for sponsor but force you to work more than one year if your PD has retrogressed. These agencies are preying on victims.

@Holy Blessings I agree that payments should only be made after an approved I-140 because these agencies sometimes pick bad sponsors in a favorable location and people signup only to get their LC or I-140 denied and no refund. With retrogression, they sare still expecting people to pay the full amount when there is a huge retrogression of this visa category with PD still in 2020. bdv solutions got recent bad reviews on google. The agency do premium processing too but still the PD is still way behind so people cannot work and there has been incidents of sponsors withdrawing the I-140

so sorry for anyone who had to go through this@Mrs Mrs also the I-140 is also testing the employers ability to sponsor so why even pay before it should be after!

@Holy Blessings I agree it doesn’t make sense. A friend told me they claim it is their consultation fee. They are making money off so many people. Since people are so desperate they sign a contract with the agency saying their is no refund and only a refile option if denied. Several did get their green card through the agency when there was no retrogression but right now it is so not worth it

@The land BDV informed me last week that my Employer will not approve any delay and they will drop out my case. They told me to find a new attorney and do "port" on my own. They did say "employer has right to withdraw my I- 140. Can you share how did you move forward in your case, please !!

@Cool Dude its fine man it might take time but focus on finding sponser and signing 485j for your employement. then you can use your own lawyer to file 485j if they withdraw i-140. keep an eye on i-140 status it will change to withdraw acknowledgment sent, if they withdraw from their side
