Case closed and reopen.
if you ever had your case administratively closed at USCIS due to been in immigration proceedings and was later reopened for consideration. How long does it take for it to be opened after submitting necessary documents such as dismissal letter from judge ?

yes I done it two times before second one is when I found out I had deportation against me and maybe I go again for the three time

on my case I made a inquiry they just respond saying my case is still in normal processing time so my case should be in Texas but the respond came from my field office so where the hell is my case exactly

@Brasileira BR I don’t know if I did it right. when I sent the judge dismissal letter to USCIS, I only sent the dismissal letter, lawyer letter stating and appealing for motion to reopen by USCIS and also the copy of the letter the officer gave us stating administrative closure after interview. I didn’t put the copy of the i130 and and i485 receipt with it. does this matter or ?

@Brasileira pls I like to know this. I know you sent motion to reopen to USCIS before you file mandamus. Did you file i290b to reopen or it’s just your lawyer letter plus judge dismissed letter that you sent earlier? I am saying all before mandamus came up because a lawyer is telling me I have to file i290b that just judge letter and lawyer letter plus other documents is not enough. pls reach out to me.
