Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
I just wanted to share my process with you guys. I am in Maryland. My interview is not scheduled yet, still waiting since August 06 when it changed to ready to be scheduled. Hopefully I receive the appointment before the end of this year.

Just wondering how do they decide which FO in Maryland your case will go to?

I’m not sure but I always see Baltimore FO in MD cases.

@May21, I think there’s only one Field Office in Maryland and that’s the Baltimore FO. There might be multiple Application Support Centers though. Not sure.

@Rene emma, have you tried filing an expedite request through Senator Cardin? That might help, since 2019 is like 2 years ago. Your case might be outside processing time and can be easily expedited imo

@benardo chess please give me an idea on what to do

@Rene emma, go to www.cardin.gov. Click on “Contact” and then “Request Assistance” and then “Immigration.” You will then find a Privacy Release Form. They recommend downloading a blank copy and filling it out because your signature will be required. So don’t use the electronic form. At the top of the page under immigration there’s a hyperlink to download blank copy. Print out a copy for each immigration application form you need them to look into. Because on I-485 and I-765 you will be both the “Petitioner/Applicant” and “Beneficiary”, however, for the I-130 your spouse will be “Petitioner/Applicant” and you will be “Beneficiary”. This is very important as they need your Privacy Consent in order to proceed with anything. After you fill out the forms, scan them and send to email stated at bottom of form. Include a detailed description about your case and why you need it expedited. The Senator’s office will then inquire with USCIS about your case and try to have it expedited. Sorry if my reply is too lengthy. All the best to you!

@aby manny Thank you! it was definitely a relief. But I hope and pray progress starts being made on your case. The Maryland congressman’s office was also slow for us. We basically moved in circles.
