I have several friends with very low credit score and none of them had their adjustment of status denied because of it

I had the same question and I got this answer, the resource is the USCIS; “Yes, the USCIS considers debt and other liabilities when reviewing Form I-485 adjustment of status applications for public charge inadmissibility. This includes credit card debt, mortgages, car loans, tax debts, education loans, liens, and personal loans. Applicants must identify these debts and liabilities in Part 3, Question 10 of the application”. Hope this helps.

I know few below 600. One had 470 because she used her credit card to pay her tuition during the pandemic and couldn’t pay back and she still got her green card. Don’t stress too much about it
