Dakar, Senegal Current interview dates
Hi guys,
Does anyone have updates on the IR1/CR1 interview dates for Dakar? What is the most recent IL date and how long is the wait time?
I tried to expedite the case based on medical emergencies but NVC has responded that the embassy is unable to expedite at the moment.
I would appreciate any information!

Hey, the wait is so annoying 😩 I read somewhere that someone who was DQ in Nov 2023 received their IL from Dakar last week. that’s 11 months! really didn’t think it would take this long to get the IL. I’m DQ Feb 2024 category IR1 embassy Dakar. what’s your DQ?

@Dily N I just got DQ’d this month. I’m so so stressed about this. I’ve sent in my medical certificates and a letter from the doctor but they still wouldn’t expedite.

why don't you just reach out to the embassy. most of them even have interview wait times for immigrant and non-immigrant visas on their website....

If you have a medical reason, I don’t see why they wouldn’t approve you. I’m sorry to hear that but since they didn’t approve your expedite request, it’s unfortunately going to be a very long wait. next month will make 9 months that we have been waiting for my husband’s IL. looks like Dakar takes 11months to a year for IL

@Mike Raphone I was told by the NVC that it was sent to the Embassy and it was rejected.

aww I’m so sorry honestly the wait is not easy and is inconvenient for everyone, I definitely can relate to how you’re feeling. are you the petitioner or beneficiary?
