Difference of i130 and I485 interview marriage
Hey guys, so tell me what is the difference of an I 130 interview and a I485 interview
my i130 is already approve and I might have a i485 interview soon. I was in removal proceedings

I-130 is to determine the validity of your marriage and if it is bonafide. I-485 is to determine your eligibility to adjust your status within the USA

are both interview different though, because my i130 for removal proceeding was waive, and will the i485 interview will be yes/no questions on my eligibility?

Yea most likely will be yes/no but be prepared to answer questions about your marriage if it comes up

so it’s even possible that they waive the i485 as well? I had misdemeanor for alcohol open container.

That will definitely trigger an interview so you can clarify. You needed to make sure that charge is taken care of and bring the documentation to your interview

I had expunged and remove the misdemeanor, I still have the original documents with me, will the expungement still trigger an interview?
