EB1A - Texas Service Center
hi there,
Filed concurrent @ Texas Service Center - I140 + 1485 + I765 + I131 in EB1A without the medicals on August 15th 2022. I140 approved on Sep 1st 2022 and biometric done on Sep 7th 2022. I have received no updated since then either for Medical RFE or EAD etc. After how many months or years the I765 is generally getting approved in EB1A category @ Texas Service Center ? Anyone in the group in the same boat ? please share Thanks 🙏

what's your PD ? Aug 15 2022 is after FAD India. You should get the EAD in 2-3 months but 485 will be stuck due to retrogression.

EB1A PD is Oct 2016 because my EB2 approved I140 PD was ported to EB1A. Thanks for your responses.

eb1a filed oct 2020 concurrent filing texas...got bio june 2021....got ead/advance parole nov2021.. i140 approval sept2022.. after 140 approval i485 got transferred to NBC ..oct 2022 updated fingerprints was applied..

After 5.5 months of filing @ Texas, I saw my I-131 online status changed couple of days back to something different than what it used to be all these months. All these months it was “Fees were waived” and now it says “Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken”. Well my biometric was done 4.5 months back. Is this how the normal workflow of processing looks like ?

I applied in oct 2022 and still waiting. how did you use your eb2 priority date? can you explain? my eb1 priority date is aug 2022 but eb2 is in 2019

@ AM Thanks for sharing your timeline. . please check with your attorney once. They will know the procedure to port priority dates. There are some standard procedures. Are you also an applicant @ Texas? You got your AP/EAD approved?

I am no longer working with an attorney since he’s not supporting our idea to port pd. any steps you share would be helpful . no ap/ead yet. I am at nbc.

@ A M What I am seeing it looks like when you apply, at that time itself, your old PD gets auto applied to your new application. Just in case somehow if it doesn’t get auto applied then perhaps one can explicitly request to USCIS for it. How that request is done I am not aware of it. in my case it was auto applied. Please take some consultation from some experts. it might help.

Hi SS. hope your EAD/ AP gets approved soon. one more follow up question on how do you know your priority date has been ported? is your I 140 priority date from eb 2 showing up on your approved i140 on eb1a? talking to attorneys tomorrow. thanks for your help!
