Hi, is your status “expedite request received”? mine is 6 days now from this status change. expedited 131 for humanitarian(medical). Just considering to expedite 765 as well for job offer. Marriage based NBC.

I was told if I have not heard from them about the expedited request they have not made a decision as yet so I’m still waiting

I was there. They had not responded me about 3 weeks, so I contacted a congressman. However, they did not respond to the congressman either for 2 weeks, so I brought it up to the senators too, then I got EAD afterwards. It took me totally of 6 weeks to get approval.

I put in an expedite request and responded to the additional evidence request but there is no change in my i-765 application that expedite request has received. nothing at all

Since I only requested an expedite for 131 for humanitarian medical issue, shall I request another one 765 for job offer?

they have not asked me any evidence yet. and it’s really frustrating as medical bills are piling up and my credit debt is going up. And yes when I called them first they told me 5 business days and then they told me 7 business days. And even after that they told me to “need not calling them back”. Then what should a person do?

i already have a job offer but cannot start because I don’t have this EAD.

i lost my opt in January and si nce then I’m not working and it’s getting frustrating.

call them and ask if they have scheduled you for bio appointment. usually it doesn’t update online when you get bio appointment

@Dokdo Kimchi Yes, you should've if you wanted getting combo card. Somewhat reason USCIS merely work on what they get requested form only. In my case, I got combo card with expediting I 765 process, but not every person got their combo card with expediting I 765 or 131.

I received an email this morning, day 12, 10:42am (about my expedite request)

in the documents section of my I-765 . I received the letter in the mail today but it was updated online

@So So As far as I know, 131 doesn’t get processed separately since it appears on the EAD card..? I am considering whether to request 765 as well but just affraid if that would affect its current 131 expedite request process for somehow.

clay S it’s no problem we are all here to help each other. yes it is marriage based. I am in the u.s. I did a paper filing for all my cases. I saw a documents sections after I put in the access code immigration sent me and added my i-765 receipt number…

oh really how do u get the access code please. when I log in I get a verification code to access my account. is that the access code you talking about

immigration mailed it to me. I got the notice with the receipt number and the another notice with the access code for my online account… I was wondering why the other cases didn’t have a documents section but if your receipt number starts with msc you won’t have that section

update: just got mail from Iscis asking evidence. does anyone know how much time it takes for decision after sending evidence.
