it feels like our spring blocks are slower than the rest somehow

I think it’s just a hit and miss honestly. there have been people approved before me and applied after we did. so idk and my response is to everything not just the EAD 🥹

I don't know what's the delay in your i765 but I think you can try to get it expedited if you have prove of financial problems

@Kingsley B try to make an inquiry on USCIS web page. I did for mi i131, but it was one year waiting.

@Kingsley B It took me 8 months before I got my i765 approved. You are far off so hopefully it comes soon.

@Kingsley B we can’t be so sure, everything is a black box at uscis and they make sure to stay this way… the fact that they’re not transparent about our own information tells us a lot…. they’re in control, they don’t care about what’s going on in our lives…. we’re just an application and somehow the whole process is dehumanizing….. I have, like probably a lot of people here, a lot of projects on standby because of the immigration… I traveled a lot and been in a lot of countries…. the process here is awful…. and will keep getting worse and worse over the years… they don’t want to fix this broken system cause it also serves the politicians…. I’ve been waiting 2 years between the i-751 and now the N-400…. and yet still nothing…. I can’t wait to be done and never hear about it anymore…

@My P mines got approve in 3 months 81 days

mine just got above oct 23 after 8 months…. they finally allowed me to file a service request which I did , i reached out to White House also… I think one of it could have triggered the approval.

@segz star Hi, that is what I am almost at, 8 months. Was yours at NBC?

@John Smith Yes I agree it is dehumanizing. I feel like I have built a life here with my husband. Whether it continues is up to USCIS. It is very frustrating. I just want my 765 to know things are moving and are okay. Sorry to hear you have been waiting so long.

@segz star I wonder if they loose applications or officers are assigned and do not get things approved.

@Kingsley B Thanks. Patience is all I have! It’s governmental so I wouldn’t be surprise if there are quite a few lazy working there. Some are really good and if you’re lucky, you’ll be assigned to them…

@Kingsley B .. They say it’s case by case basis, nobody knows what happens over there..if a work permit took 8 months, how long will a green card approval take? it’s so frustrating but there’s nothing to be done than patience.
