I-130 Petition expedite approval
Hi everyone, we filed for expedited processing of our case January 4, 2022 and the following day 5th of January we got a response from USCIS to submit additional documents to support our expedite request. We sent in Medical records and some pictures the same day and on the 10th of January we got an email saying our case qualified for expedited processing and we should expect a response within 45days. Its 54days already and nothing yet. so I filed another expedite and got an email from them saying our case is already with an officer and under active review undergoing adjudication. Does anyone have an idea or anyone gone through this before? It's crazy, Expedite is supposed to make things faster I thought 🤔

what was the reasons please? and what documents did you provide
Alice SmithMar 6, 2022
Hi @Austin, Could please share with us your reason for expediting? and which documents we need? There is a letter from my son's psychiatrist that he is in a bad situation and he tried to have suicide. Also, my psychiatric 's letter proves that I have severe depression because of far from my son for years. Do you think these evidence and documents can be helpful documents for expediting?

my wife has foot ulcers, lost a toe and she's going in for more surgeries so she doesn't lose the whole foot. She's dealing with series of infections which makes it hard for her to move around on her own, she only has her mom who's 76yrs old to help her, so I sent in medical records showing all her current problems/diagnosis and treatments and also pictures of her toe and her wound which refuses to heal. The infections could cos more damage if it's not cleared from her system.
Prince AustinMar 6, 2022
and I sent in the requested documents through an email USCIS provided.
Prince AustinMar 6, 2022
@Alice I think you have a good reasons to be approved for an expedite. File it under Urgent/Humanitarian Reasons and you'll get an email a day or two to submit additional documents to prove your case.

Austin, I read on the uscis website they don't use email anymore. I'm not sure, but check it out just in case
Prince AustinMar 6, 2022
@F2A, when you file expedite through Emma or through the phone, they send u an email with an email address which is only used to submit additional paperwork for expedite request. they will also let you know through email if it's accepted or not.
Prince AustinMar 6, 2022
I guess what @F2A read is, you can't email them anymore which is true but for expedite request with USCIS, they will get back to you through email and you will also send the requested documents through a designated email which would be in the email sent to you.

Thank you so much @F2A
Alice SmithMar 6, 2022
@Austin, Thank you so much for your kind help. Just a question, where can I file Urgent/Humanitarian? Is there any form for it? and where do I need to send it? As I read your comments to reply to others I found I need the first talk with Emma for expediting and then when I receive their email I can submit additional documents? right?
Prince AustinMar 6, 2022
@Alice, chat Emma through USCIS website and say you wanna expedite, he/she will ask under what category, tell them urgent/humanitarian reasons and then give a short explanation afterwards. The expedite will be filed for you and then a day or two after you'd get an email asking for supporting documents
Prince AustinMar 6, 2022
or you can just call USCIS and speak to a Tier 1 officer, tell him or her you wanna expedite under Urgent/Humanitarian Reasons and give a short explanation of your problem, he/she will file it for you.

Hi, guys only for the update, I did chat with Emma and asked for expedite, she sent me a reference number and told me that I will receive an email from USCIS. After 12 days I didn't receive any email and again talked with Emma and asked for the answer. The day after I received an email that they denied my request. :( Again yesterday I talked with Emma and asked them for a new request for expediting. But the live agent only sent me the same message as the email and disconnected our conversation. I am so disappointed, I would appreciate it if anyone has another experience to help me? This is the email and messages that USCIS sent to me: "We received your request for expedited processing. However, we will not expedite processing of your case because there are no visas available for your relative's preference category. You may obtain information on visa availability at: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html or by calling the State Department at 202-663-1541. We hope this information is helpful to you."

@Alice, what case did you file?
Alice SmithMar 24, 2022
Hi @Austin. #f2b for my son
F2A PD 4/1/21 Potomac scMar 24, 2022
I asked for expedite more then 2 weeks ago and still no answers. no email, no updates in account. asked live agent - it's still pending...
Prince AustinMar 24, 2022
@Alice, I think that's why they say they can't expedite. if it were spousal, it probably would be different.

@Austin, I also requested for my I-130 to be expedited, they responded and asked me to send evidence and gave me only 48hrs to send it in. I requested for medical reports from the hospital where my mom is back home, and I was only sent 2 documents, 1 was the doctor stating her condition in a lame man’s understanding, and the other was just a test of her urea and creatinine. I also got pictures of her current state, my husband also wrote a letter too. Do you think that is convincing enough to them? what documents did you give them, I’m scared mine isn’t enough?
A
Ada AMar 24, 2022
@Austin, please, I urgently need your response
Prince AustinMar 24, 2022
@Ada, I think yours enough. for mine I only submitted medical records I printed online from the hospital portal and also picture of my wife's foot and a short note.
Prince AustinMar 24, 2022
so I think you have more than enough evidence. the medical report and doctor's note is great evidence to proof your case.

Ada AMar 24, 2022
ok, how long did it take?
Prince AustinMar 24, 2022
I filed January 4, 2022, I was emailed the next day to send evidence, I sent the records and pictures the same day, and on January 10, 2022 I received the email saying it was accepted.

Prince AustinMar 24, 2022
I thought you already responded with the Evidence. don't send twice. you need to send all in one email

Ada AMar 24, 2022
No, not yet. I was sure I had enough documents, so I wanted to ask before submitting to them.
Prince AustinMar 24, 2022
go ahead and submit.
