@Bella B she asked my husband how we met, if he has met my parents, where did we get married, she asked me his name, our address and if I have met his parents. She asked my husband all yes or no question on I-485.

@Bella B they asked me the same question during my interview but still waiting for the approval my interview was 4/3/2025

@Fareeha batool advanced parole is a document that you can request while doing adjustment of status that allows you to travel overseas. Basically is a travel permission

@Bella B We did not submit medical with the application so we got RFE for medical last year and my interview was waived as per EMMA last year.

@Robert kibet My interview was also on April 3rd.

@Jas P how long after the interview date did you recieve an approval on the I-485?

@Bella B we had to submit a new medical, any medicals that are signed after November of 2023 are still valid, anything before November of 2023 is expired. we had to go have a new one done

@Fareeha batool when we applied for adjustment of status (inside USA), we can ask for permission to work and to travel while waiting for the process to be approved. advanced parole is the document that allows you to travel
