I just finished my interview this morning..immediately I left there it updated to interview completed and my case must be reviewed

I had my interview yesterday and around 5 pm I got interview completed and case must be reviewed. this morning they approved the I-130, and no updates on the I-485

same here 22 days after interview. status saying case must be reviewed.

So i reached 12:30 no line, was able to to get my number at 12:40. 10 mins later an officer called Cotty called our number, she asked about my husband’s passport and my social and kids social and my Govt ID, then started asking my husband when we got married my birth date kids birth date, where they were born (hospital) then asked me what’s my address and my husband’s birth date and what my husband’s do for work and then started asking me those form questions about crimes.... than asked us for photos and all joint accounts papers I gave her our life insurance and credit cards. She took 6 pictures from our album then she was just writing down. It took only 30 mins then the officer said u gonna hear the decision in maximum 120 days

thank you all for sharing! my case also says “interview scheduled” nothing changed. i never received my EAD OR AP card which is making me more worried. i was also handed a white paper at the end of the interview and the officer check marked that the case is being held for review

the officer asked my husband to tell him my parents names and my birthday. the officer asked me my husbands full name, his birthday, and the date we got married. then he asked me to tell him how we met. he also asked what joint finances we have with eachother. he asked if i would like to submit any new evidence. he took those documents then said he will review everything one more time and gave me a white paper that said the case is held for review!

@little bird no i dont think u should be worried. the white paper just says the case is held for review. what did the officer tell u at the end of ur interview??

@little bird i think thats good news and ur officer will approve the case!!! i am praying we both get our approvals by tomorrow. please update when u get a change in ur status and i will do the same

half the day is over and still nothing.. really getting restless :(

he told me to expect my GC in the mail from 2 to 3 weeks. I signed 2 white papers at the end of interview. interview was very smooth. 15 to 20 minutes. Boston field office. he didn't give me the peppers to go back with. I signed then he kept them

what were the papers u signed?

it was so fast that I didn't read it, he just quickly said sign here, and he look for the other page and said sign here 😳

today many got approved in NY on the spot and they have been married for less than 2 years. I am married for 5 years and I have 2 kids and I am suffering waiting for approval this is unfair 😢

yesterday another person married less than 2 years and no children gor approved on the spot. I slept at 8 pm and didn’t want to wake up, I am getting a depression.

@little bird you are absolutely right. it is definitely much easier said than done not to worry but we need to be strong and be patient and have faith in God that everything will work out for us. we really are all in this together and things will work out for each and every one of us, God willing!!!

some people's situations are worse than you can even imagine. I think it's better for them to take their time to approve your case. rather than rush to deny you. be patient my dear 😘

Hi guys, I'm reading your comments and I know they're from 2021 but I just did my interview and I'm in the same situation, 130 approved and 485 still scheduled for an interview. My interview was great and the officer said I would get my documents by mail in 2-3 weeks. Could someone tell me how your case ended? Anyone going through the same situation in 2022?

Yes since may 3 , 2022 , only i130 changed the very next day to approve on May 4, interview in manhattan

Said the same thing , 2-3 weeks. Even said I was approved and stamped my passport nothing changes😔

I've seen in some groups other people with the same 485 update delay problem, I hope it's really that, let me know about the progress of the case and I'll do the same, good luck to us!

Well I did my interview on May 27th it’s been 3 weeks now both I-130 and I-485 still says “interview was scheduled”. What I want to say y’all is everyone’s different so stay positive! 🙂

Man the wait is crazy. I started my journey in July 2018 and I’m still waiting. I had my i485 interview June 2021 and then a second interview January 2022. The 130 was approved the day after my second interview but the i1485 hasn’t been updated since they scheduled the first interview in 2021. I’m tired and depressed, don’t know what to do smh. Then I see people who applied way after me getting approved, I don’t understand Uscis

Hello Soul, We did our Green Card interview on March 28th 2023. Interviewing Officer told us, they have all the required documents and the application is approved and you will receive Green Card within 2 weeks by mail. But no update whatsoever on the website. It still says - Interview was scheduled on March 28th. We are still waiting for an update. Are you doing Family Based GC? Which location did you go for Interview?

Interview was done more than 5 weeks ago. The interviewing officer said my husband's petition is approved and so is my I-485. She said to expect the green card by mail within 2-3 weeks. After a few days, I-130 was updated as approved. I-485 hasn't changed from "Interview was scheduled..." Nothing on the mail which I have been checking everyday since. I tried calling but couldn't get through the automated voice recordings. I lodged a case inquiry 30 days after the interview and received a response saying I should expect to hear back by July 30. I know some people who didn't even have to be interviewed and were approved and their green cards sent right away. They even applied after I did. I don't understand USCIS at all and how these differences in decision making are carried out. Anyway, any updates from you guys?

Mine too is still saying the interview was scheduled which I have done my interview 5 months ago an me an my husband were worried we don't no what to do next no update an nothing from them an I think with my own knowledge my interview went well
