I-730 FTJ-A Status update
My family resides outside the United States and their I-730 was updated as case sent to USCIS International Office or DOS Consulate Office for processing. Next day it was updated to Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction. I’m confused if it was sent to the embassy directly or has to go through NVC before forwarding to embassy. How much longer is the process till interview?

@Stampft Kleid I am in the same boat as you. mine was transferred Feb 11th this year and still waiting. last time I chatted with an agent she told me that it was sent to Refugee Operations Domestic External request office. I guess this is part of the standard process.

no worries they often do that to speed up the process.. mine was transferred two times before it finally got approved from USCIS. Once USCIS approves it it will send your petition to NVC for visa processing
