I-751 Process Status @ Potomac Center
Yep… like another cases at Potomac center, no changes since May 2020 when my biometric was received . Talking with my attorney, he said that they’re making decisions on cases from December 2019, and may will take around 4-5 months before I hear back a decision from USCIS. If you are in the same situation as I, my suggestion is to contact USCIS and request a 24 months extension notice… in order to ensure that your documents do not expire.

waiting patientlyNov 9, 2021
they are sending the 24 months extension to almost everybody that has a pending i751
Lucy LouNov 9, 2021
yes, but my last notice had less than 90 days to expire, so better request just in case! 😉
Isa BellNov 9, 2021
they are currently working on March 2020 pd. There were a few approval notices sent out friday, yesterday and today.
Lucy LouNov 9, 2021
@Isa Bell my attorney contacted USCIS today and they said they are working in cases from Dec 05, 2019. I’m not sure how they work case by case, but it was the info that I got.
Rocco FortéNov 9, 2021
They are working on March of 2020. Also they are automatically sending out the 24month extensions so you don’t need to request

been in the same Boat I did my interview (marriage based)March 12, 2019 they requested for RFE no decision up to this moment. my working permit expired I filed for one they issued receipt April 8and it been 7 month never gotten one just hanging in there
Lucy LouNov 9, 2021
@Rocco Forte as I mentioned before, my latest notice expire in January, so request an extension doesn’t hurt once the deadline is too close. As I mentioned as well, my attorney got the processing time from USCIS after contacted them, so, seeing the I-751 cases that are being approved here, makes sense the date he gave me.
Isa BellNov 9, 2021
Dec 05 2019 is the current receipt date for a case inquiry by the way. Meaning you’re about to be out of regular processing time.
Pranav PrabhudesaiNov 10, 2021
hi Isa bell, how do you know they are working on March 2020.
Isa BellNov 10, 2021
i do the same thing that Rocco does. I look through case ranges on Case Tracker. I can see the approval date, as well as which form it is.
Lucy LouNov 10, 2021
case ranges on case tracker? what case tracker? uscis or here? Here the last one that I heard that was approved had his receipt date in November 2019.
Youyou 1282Nov 10, 2021
Am at my 630 days waiting. just do biometric and got my passport stamped back in August
Lucy LouNov 10, 2021
@Youyou 1282 I hear you. I heard about the stamp in the passaport - I got this recommendation from my attorney if they don’t respond or sent my extension request until the beginning of the next month. Yep, frustrating… I don’t know nothing about the case trackers that people is mentioning here, what I track is the people that share their approval timeline, and different from what people say, the cases are taking about 24 months from the date of the receipt. I would be happy if they were working in cases from March 2020, but hard to believe at this point
Isa BellNov 10, 2021
download the Case Tracker app. Go on Search. > Add your case number > add 500 for the range. You’ll get a list of 500 cases within yours. You’ll be able to see what form it is, as well as the last update. You can even cross reference them on the USCIS website. I’m march, and I can see cases before and after mine showing an approval date of late October and early November. Lucy - please check so you can see the March cases approval before descrediting what we’re saying :)

I’m exiting this thread - not feeling a friendly vibe here as most are. Best of luck with your case :)
Lucy LouNov 10, 2021
I have the uscis tracker and I did the check that you mentioned and nothing different that what I said here. On my case, there are just me and another person for I-751, and we both have the same status. For other requests types you will find another processing time. Sorry for you not feeling a friendly vibe, but I prefer to be sincere based in the information that I got so far. you case can be different from mine, just about that.

Lol

I filed a case in May 2020 with a waiver and yet no update. The case is outside the processing time and no response to inquiries. I guess I can only wait.
