I’m EB3 professional and my i140 regular is approaching the 8-month mark. PD is Nov 7,2022

my i140 took 7 months to get approved. eb3 ROW, schedule A

Did you purchase your employment via any agency?

@Me BHE I don't think it's worth it, especially because the PD isn't current yet

my I 140 still waiting ,Almost 8.5 month

@Taliane Rodrigues If you are not current, it’s not worth it. But you never know when you become current and you’d still waiting for I-140 approval etc. @L N Ok. Got it. What I was thinking is, that applicant should be ready as soon as they become current. Because you may be current in one bulletin but not in the next. so if you have everything ready/approved, you can submit documents I-485 and then 180 cycle starts even if you are not current. This way you can easily switch jobs etc after 180 days of filing I-485.

@Taliane Rodrigues & @L N If you have approved I-140, you can use it to extend H-1B beyond Six (6) years.

@Me BHE i appreciate that! however, i wanted to go with premium in the beginning but my employer said otherwise and im financially limited haha. i was blessed enough to file i-485 concurrently with my i-140 as well
