@Tom Bom I have waited too long to apply vawa , then it took forever to get approval, my green card application was out of normal processing time , I got a job offer but they prefer green card holder

I am almost in the same path! My expedite request has been in process (Not yet approved). Speaking to one of the tier 2 support officer, i came to know that ones the expedite request is approved, Field office has 30days to adjudicate your I-485 decision. So, you are almost there, good luck.
