Whats the reason for making infopass it should only be about that

@fraser c outside of normal processing times. It’s been 2years and 7 months since I’ve received an update on my I-485 and my VAWA has been approved for more than 5 months.

at the Infopass appointment generally they are not able to do much unless you have an emergency. they may expedite your case then

@chichi ada You had your interview for VAWA? I requested an infopass on May 19 and they finally called me back on August 8th. I think I just kept requesting live agent through Emma and repeating myself. I had totally forgotten about it because I never heard back, but then 3 months later they called. know it’s hard these days.

I 485 takes about 7months to a year so just hang in there

@chichi Ada Omg That’s so unfair. you should’ve gotten your GC already. Did you bring your medical and everything? also you should definitely request an infopass then.

@k m my Medicals were expired . Went to the interview without knowing . I sent them within 10 days and here am today . Any latest on your case ?

@chichi Ada oh no, but good thing you send new medicals in so quick! today I received an e-mail from my congresswomen that USCIS sent them a message stating that my I-485 is in transit to my local field office. The same office I have an infopass appointment with (this Friday). I’ll make sure to ask if they have my case on Friday — I’m going to ask and say a million things in the name of all of us waiting 😅

Oh btw, I got an email yesterday from USCIS stating that they got my request for an infopass appt, but there's none available. The story of my life! 😂 I swear this case has been nothing but stress & disappointment. I really thought I was going to get some answers. The email went onto say, if a spot becomes available, they'll contact me to see if I still want to come in. I wanted to speak to someone before the end of the USCIS fiscal year, which is September 30th.

@Mr flex j ~ You & I were approved in November. Did you receive more than one approval notice for your Vawa? I have the hard copy of my November approval, yet USCIS states that they approved my Vawa in February 2022. I wanted an info pass to get this matter clarified, as I don’t want them pushing my GC date back anymore.

I went for my Infopass appointment, with the letter that was given to me by the judge that my case has been granted they said they haven’t gotten a letter from ice and my I-485 is still pending what should I do to fasten up my I-485 it’s been 3 years already

It’s really frustrating me I just wanna give up at this point
