@Van Nguyen how was your interview? Can you share your experience please?

getting interview after rfe is common, I got it too after I send them medical, my case went to CRP and they called me for an interview. interview was faily relaxed. they only asked me about the questions from I-485 and needed to verify that those answers are still same and nothing changed.

My PD is 10/2021 and I have an interview scheduled for next week. I will be glad to share your experience, I will be sure to update mine.

@the eagle I m gonna start later. My lawyer told me it’s totally fine if you don’t work for your sponsor before getting approved.

@Rom Sin kind of same to your status. I also send a medical rfe after 48 days of it status change that case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. and its been 38 days after status no mail has been received for the interview date tried calling the Uscis they tell the same thing that nothing is schedules as of yet

@bored ape they will say to wait for visa current to get a green card. That is all my group members got the interview get the answer

@Rom Sin I worked with the sponsor for a while after that I left for some reason. I'm worried how to cover up that question why I'm not working right now

@bored ape I think , usually they schedule the interview well in advance prior to you become current. My case seems a bit exceptional in terms of o already sent medical RFE then they scheduled me for an interview and that’s within a week.

@the eagle To be honest , it really depends on the scenario you are in. If it’s related to health issues or something else, you should probably be honest and let them know .

@Rom Sin Yes, l’m working for my sponsor part time, also have another job. I think the extra work will not have any negative effect. I passed the med.ex. on 4/2023 since then my status is CRP. Nothing has changed, the letter was sent to my home address on October 18. good Luck everyone 🙌 In general, 120 days after the interview are written as a deadline for a decision. Let's hope spring will be happy for all of us.

i left my employer 6 months prior to my interview due to some personal reasons keeping the door open for me to go back and work for them. I starter working for my employer after my interview again. But to your question I wasn’t working with my employer when I had my interview. Envoy got the message from employer that they can’t sign my i-485j because in their system they terminated me but talking to my GM she rehired me and handed my i485j just before the interview which later during interview they didn’t even ask for. In most cases they require i485j and enployement verification letter. in my case they didn’t ask me a single quetion about my employment or what I do.

Outcome was positive she signed the slip saying it is approved and I need to wait 2 weeks to get GC but my pd is not current so they moved my case back to CRP status after like 2 weeks of interview.
