Interview scheduled just a month after submission, is this normal?
Hi all, my EB1A based I-485 just got scheduled for an interview in mid-May. My case was received at the beginning of March and I just did my biometrics last week. This morning it says my case has been scheduled for an interview and according to Emma, it’s already at the local Field Office.
May I ask if this is normal? I certainly want to get my green card as soon as possible but this is way too fast to the point it makes me nervous, wondering how come it can so quickly go from NBC to the local Field Office. I would say my case is very simple and straightforward with no dependents. But wouldn’t I have gotten the interviewed waived entirely? Has anyone experienced something similar? Thanks.

This is absolutely normal for EB-1A case, some cases approved within a month. Your interview could be canceled during waiting period, where is nothing to worry about, check documents section and get ready for the interview, it’s also great to take a lawyer for interview
