for the future: if you want to check where should you send your petition, you have to go to proper form (I485 family based on USCIS website), then you have to click „where to file”, and then you have to look for state in which is your field office. that’s how you find correct adress

@survivor p @remaining hopeful : my 485 has been pending since 2020, my 360 approved feb 2024, 485 moved to too many service centers anf frild offices, charlotte is the last place where is my 485 located. Norh Carolina is not my home state. I am only person by this app posts , not getting ead c31 after 360 approved and not getting rfe for medical. I am not sure what happened on my file or what my attorney did at the beginning. Oh Lord 😔😔

@Hope Hope 💝 I think your lawyer didn’t mark on the form I360 that you would like to receive work permit, that’s why you didn’t receive it. I don’t know what to say @Hope Hope 💝 I really suggest you just to wait. Fact you filed I485 in 2020 is not an argument because form I485 is not processed at all until your VAWA is approved. So technically you should start count time for I485 from the date your VAWA was approved

@Hope Hope 💝 no don’t worry too much. I had briefly gotten a C31 but then all of a sudden a C9 came in the mail with a longer expiration date and my attorney said to stick to the C9 one instead. sometimes I think they move cases to where there’s not as much cases being handled there compared to other field offices. As for the medical exam “New USCIS policy guidance provides that Forms I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, that are properly completed and signed by a civil surgeon on or after November 1, 2023, do not expire and are valid indefinitely as proof of applicant admissibility on health-related grounds” what I pulled from Google. If you’re still feeling anxious you could possibly revisit the doctor that did your first one & see if there are vaccines you may still need depending on how old you exam is.

@survivor p I had gotten a C31 for a brief period before C9 but I got work permit which maybe is why they changed it quickly to a C9

@remaining hopeful ; my first medical was done November 2020 , that new policy is not apply to my case , I need to renew it . my attorney is one of worst attorney. I paid him 5k ,he did lots of mistakes, I know that recently, he used old education forms uscis returned my forms and he resent them, I got it last Friday. offfff😞😞😞 now I want to focus on my 485 only , also for ead c31 , I applied for it on July 2024 is on prossing now. Hope my 485 gets approved before 2024 ends.

@Hope Hope 💝 A risk I’d say is without the RFE anyone working in USCIS FO can just throw it away or throw it somewhere because on the RFE they typically ask at the end to “Place a copy of this entire letter on top of your response. Submission of evidence without this letter may delay the processing of your case and could result in a denial.” This is word for word from the medical exam RFE I just received. Then right under that they say “Mail your response to this address”.
