no that’s not how it goes, I am married to a GC holder abuser and up to today he’s still a GC holder. I apply for vawa concurrently July 30, uscis receive my application August 4 and I have my combo card more than a month now, it all boils down to who’s processing your application that’s how I see it.

Shari mc, Thank you for sharing this. Obviously I applied 2 months before you did, my application was received on June 1st 2021. Based on your shared time-line it sounds like getting a RFE is better than getting Prima facie determination? I've never got no RFE request instead I've got prima facie 2 months prior applying. And when I look at most applicants who got RFE have a quick response for getting EAD compare to PF receivers, not them all but most that I've seen here. I'm trying to understand to make it make sense, because there are applications that gone ahead of me several times. Maybe there's a problem, or the person that got my file is not really as quick as the one who processed yours. I'm trying to understand that looking for answers.

I received my PF in October as well

as for the lawfully app, it’s not correct it only shows data for persons who join the app. There’s millions of person who have vawa case pending but isn’t apart of the lawfully app. also it does make sense that it depends on the person processing each application bcuz it’s matter not how early or late you file. you will have persons who file after you getting through before you and you your self will file after someone else and might get through before them as well, my RFE was for my good moral character

also I heard you can try expedite your EAD

Really? So maybe my application has been moved apart, or there's an issue! I should have received even RFE to be sure that it's running that's very long time, almost a year. Or even I'm not just lucky as you? Maybe.

I really pray you get ur EAD soon though bcuz I know the frustration to not have it. hopefully soon

Shari mc I almost have the same timeline as yours married to a gc holder, filed in July got my prima facie sametime I got the receipt notices. biometrics October 20 but until now nothing else. This is really frustrating 😤 smh 🤦‍♀️

I don't know if they will give me that because other applications still going ahead of me. Maybe they decided I'm not important, I'm not welcomed.
