N400 NJ
My PD may 23, 2020. it is processing in Newark NJ. but it is too slow still I didn't get biometric appointment. I think Mount Laurel NJ processing is better then Newark. can I change my field office to Mount Laurel NJ??

Unless you have a valid reason to expedite you have to wait. mine took 6m exactly but because I’m in the military. Good luck

No you can't... I have submitted my N400 since August last year and haven't go for my biometric... It's even more than 8month now

We filed in September of 2020 and got a notice saying we didnt need to do our biometrics ; they would use the old biometrics and did not refund our 85 dollars. It is now May 16 th and we are still waiting for the interview to do the citizenship test. We live in South Jersey and our office is Mt. Laurel. Good luck!!!

@rikki doe: Mt. Laurel current processing time is Jan 10 2020 and Newark current time is Nov 4 2019. so still you are away from current processing time and you are lucky because it's better then Newark.

Rikki, USCIS don’t refund money, so your $85 are gone.
Guys don’t pay attention to the “processing time” they’re not accurate.

@Miguel Aragones: So how do I know current processing time in Newark. USCIS always saying I haven't reach the processing time and looks the processing time by the field office. you know I already over a year waiting.

You can file a e-Request asking for an explanation of what’s going on in your case? But remember all cases are delay because of COVID. I know is frustrating but they don’t care, just keep waiting. Or try calling but usually they repeat the same that you already know. So file an e-Request

@Miguel Aragones: I have submitted the e-Request already. but they are saying the current processing Date is Nov 4, 2019 and I need to wait until May 23, 2020. it's as usual.

I am in a WhatsApp group and the interview are in those cases that were submitted between may and agost . my Pd is nov 2020 I did my bio in feb 2021 , ready to schedule the interview since March 2021. NO EAD/AP

Same here, we applied in September 2020 and they are reusing our old biometrics too. We are out of the Mt. Laurel office. Its going to be a wait between 15 to 17 months from start to finish. We should hear something by August . GOD willing.

I filed in Feb/2021 and got the bio reuse and no movement after that. One of my friend filed N400 in APril 2020 and he got the interview letter in April 2021 and compelted his interview and Oath on May 18 2021.

We filed our N-400 in September2020, got our test date for citizenship and took the test and oath in September 2021, told us we need more information, got our notice in November 2021 they approved our Citizenship and went to the ceremony on December 22, 2021. I am now a Nationalized Citizen and it has been along journey from November 2010 until now. Thank you GOD.
