NYC Biometrics, walk-in at Varick Street?
Hi all, I’ve just received my Biometrics notice (centre is Varick Street, Manhattan) for 12/22. I was wondering if anyone on here had done a “walk-in” ahead of their appointment time at this location, and if so, if they were successful? Looking at forums online, it seems this was very commonplace until at least 2015. Aside from the fact I can’t find a lot of accounts of experiences after 2015, I am also conscious that Covid may mean the centers are not letting anyone in ahead of their schedule time. Any experiences, particularly in the last 2 months, would be welcome! Thanks all :) Jude

Cheers! Yes, it was welcome news...had done a lot of phoning to USCIS, asking for service requests — and it seems to have worked! PD is 7/13/2020 — Field Office is Manhattan. Case is at the National Benefit Center

@jude , I’m NYC too , pd is 08/31 . no biometrics appointment letter yet ! fingers crossed

yes I’m nyc too, pd 8/19/2020. still waiting on biometrics but I’m happy to see nyc is moving. did a service request a little over a month but still no response from it.
