You just need a valid government ID to attend your interview.

@Hare Krishna Gauranga, It is mandatory you provide the passport used for your last entry to the USA. No other ID replaces it. When you filed your AOS, you were required to complete your entry visa number-the IO needs to see your passport showing same visa.

@Rocco Forte, you need all the original copies of the photocopies sent with your application. USCIS specifically reserves the right to verify all the original documentations and compare to the copies you submitted, at the time of your interview. When I attended my AOS interview, the IO checked all the documents I previously submitted to the original I took to the interview. She ticked each one after the verification, circled the number on my birth certificate and passport. Don't make a mistake of attending interview without the original documentations.

Yes, a police report was filed about the breakin with the car window glass broken. That report was attached to the application for the new passport.

@Gucci G. if you did not attach a of your passport and the visa page you entered the country with to your application you won’t have made it to the interview because you will be answering an RFE. You don’t need to carry your passport to your interview. I did not carry mine to my AOS. I only carried my ID and new evidence
