Just to share that I used USPS 1-2 days service to Elgin Lockbox regarding my I-485 & I-765 which they received on September 27th. Receipt notice was received by text message on October 2nd. I await the physical notice by mail.

they are processing faster than Chicago lockbox. I got a receipt notice in mail today for the forms filed on 23rd September

yes, it was sent to Elgin lock box but receipts are sent by national benefits center. did you text message receipt notice say it went Texas service center ? on 2nd October, status for I-485 changed to Biometrics. waiting for appointment notice for it.

@Daniel K Wow, your case is progressing nicely. On the day you received receipt notice you also received biometrics notice; are you aware that this all happens in 9 days :-). Good for you, and I hope mine come that quick also. My I-130 receipt nnotice came from texas. I believe I-485 & I-765 receipts will be from NBC.

thanks for checking and congratulations! no update on mine yet, I finished my biometrics yesterday and case status turned automatically to actively being reviewed
