SAVE Verification for Driver's Licence
So on February 03 2023, I went into the BMV(Ohio) to renew my Driver's Licence with 1-797C Notice of Action for I-485 Adjustment of status(based on Vawa). Since licence was more than 6 months expired, BMV requested Valid Passport, proof of address, Social Security card and I-797C notice. Was sent for Save verification and this stayed pending for 53 days(Under review). Today I engaged a live chat with the BMV online after noticing that the status on SAVE check says: returned to agency. BMV confirmed that my ID was in progress and I will receive card within 10 business days. So now need to retake both written and road test to get licence. I'm hoping I don't get stuck at SAVE verification again after I'm done with written part to obtain my Temp. Hope this helps some one who is in the same process. Please share your SAVE experiences so it can benefit others. Thanks.

Hello @Jema I ....That's how SAVE verification works. It's a verification for legal presence. For some, it goes through immediately...Others have to go through a second...and even third stage verification. So to answer your question, No, I didn't do anything. My record is as clean as a whistle 😙🙂🙂

ah coz I applied for my social and it's been pending. Work permit is useless coz the job I got needs to run a background check before they can give an offer and they need my social to run that :(

@Jema I Yes....They run SAVE too for social security You can check your status here.. https://save.uscis.gov/save/app/client/ui/case-check.

@Jema I Not having to do with doing anything, it just depend on the availability of the USCIS to give them a go-ahead, I have a family member that took 3 months for them to say yes we issued it and they approved her drivers license in the end
