Sharing a tool that'll make life easy to travel with Refugee Travel Document
Hey everyone,
My trip with the refugee travel document was not the smoothest like everyones since it is quite a pain to go through check-in etc. not only did they always think I needed a visa everywhere, they even weren't sure I could return to the US with that document so Rule 1: Go to the airport early!
Secondly, I've worked as an immigration paralegal for many years and have created a community where I'll be sharing the link of the tool #airlineemployees use to check if you need a visa. That's a lifesaver when you go to check in and wherever you meet any issues but also when you are in doubt.

Hello, I'm sorry about what you went through and my question is, is it safe to reinvest in the United States with that document or can there be some problems?

by reinvest I'm assuming you're asking to get back in? It depends on case by case basis but you will be fine. You probably will be taken to secondary to confirm your asylee status and you'll be good to go!
