Time needed for decision after biometrics
My i485 is current and submitted Medical RFE too. After the RFE submission I got biometrics appointment. USCIS officer told me that it is the last step before the final decision is made.
wanted to know how many days will it take for the results of biometrics and FBI clearances to show up in their system and approximate time USCIS takes to approve.

@Pra J so the biometrics is with them from the moment you give it. it takes them anywhere between 20-50 days to run all the background checks. Sometimes it’ll take 2-3 days. it really depends. sometimes after biometrics status won’t update but after the timeline they’ll issue a decision. so you really can’t tell.

i have been waiting for 5 months after biometrics and no answer so far. i was told the average is 9 months after i485 is submitted. not sure if that is accurate.
