Wishing everyone the best, especially those Oct/Nov/Dec-2023 filers without Premium Processing, as we approach the 12th month, which is now the average waiting time for 80% of cases to be reviewed.
(IMO; Additional delays are likely due to the massive influx of applications and prioritization of cases that are current.)
•Today marks 366 days since I submitted my I-140 application and
• 330 days since my last status update to “Case is being actively reviewed…”.
Let’s stay positive and see what the future holds as we continue waiting patiently, some cases are passing ~450 days already.

Nice to see your update again. To be honest I haven’t seen any Nebraska case approvals without premium lately. It seemed that they stop processing our cases and wait until our PD is near.

@Kar NIW i140-Nov 2023’ 396 days here. Texas. Just wanted to understand what changes with the EB2 NIW with the change of government. The lawyer that I used to have consultations didn't respond to me yet.

@Duc Hoang You are correct, they slowed down on the ones aint current yet., Prioritizing the ones capable of going for the adjustment of status.

It often takes months to see any changes; nothing can be executed immediately because there are specific steps that must be followed to implement any adjustments.
Personally, I don't believe anything will change, as we didn't see any changes last time in our process.

i see some cases around our PD that get approved without PP, yet they are very few

Some cases that have recently been approved are handled differently: some are with processing priority (PP), others are easier to approve, and some consist of stronger cases and evidence.
The outcome also depends on the reviewing officer. Ultimately, the review process remains somewhat of a mystery, I think; it was initially expected that they would focus on current cases.
At the end, no one knows…

There are no updates other than that it now takes 13 months to review 80% of the cases. I suppose all we can do is wait. I also submitted a request regarding this issue, but I received the same generic response that everyone gets.

hello any updates? just knew a guy with PD in Oct 23 got approved lately after 14 months.
