I am in the same boat. EB2 -NIW i-140 approved in June and I-485 transferred in July and received RFE on from non local FO ( Phoenix,Aug 9 and mailed RFE on Aug 10). Eagearly waiting. What's your FO.

for your reference my i-140 for EB2-NIW was approved last march. I received the EAD this august (mine is Long Island city - NY).

Hello! I have a similar situation! Sent my i-485 on April 21 2021. Received RFE on June 6 2022. I did send the new updated I-693 with COVID vaccines to the different location this time to NY's field office on July 29 2022. But still don't see or heard any updates since my biometric were taken on May 6 2021 👀

@kupa Era, do you know if there is a way to be sure they received it, beside FedEx confirmation?

In my case the case got updated to "my response to RFE was received" five days after submitting medicals through FedEx. It's not necessary to get this update apparently. A final decision may be updated directly.

😩 I called them, they gave the same answer " biometrics taken".. my case was in Dallas, TX before, now in NY's field office. Good thing that I changed my address on time, I got a letter for medical RFE, I thought that the case status online will show that my case was transferred etc. Seems like they will send a letter by mail only. Only hope to get an answer is from the mail....☹️ or maybe will buy ticket to NY

Did they not confirm that they received your i693?

No ☹️,but it's been 11 days since they received by FedEx (it showed the name of the person who got the 💌), 🤔 they might think that's a response from them. I really hope that my I-693 was correct,the old one was from 2019 and it was expired

Since this is received at the FO, probably best to not worry too much about the update provided on phone. But may be good to check in again if no update in the next 2 weeks - 30 days in total since submission. Since they are trying to use as many visas as possible before Sep 30, good to check in by phone by first week of September. If still no update might be good to check with the lawyer if it is better to resend at that time. Good luck 🤞

I did all of my documentation without lawyers, even an interview back in 2016, 2017 had to adjust my status, but because of my divorcing case, I took my time till 2019 with a fee waiver (fee waiver needed more evidence), so I just sent i-485 last year 2021 with the money order. I've heard it's better to pay fees. Probably will just wait for their response again. Thank you!

Just as an update exactly 9 days after rfe response received was notified and within 2 weeks of submission by Fedex, I got the new card is ordered status today! So hopefully everyone gets a similar approval this week or in the coming few weeks.
