Unsolicited Evidence… Do or Don’t?
I’ve been toiling with whether or not I should upload additional evidence to my I485. After sifting through different posts and different sources, I’ve decided why not? So I did and realized, your Timestamp automatically changes when you do… Timeline remaining hasn’t changed (which we all know by now is BS) but I’m keeping tabs on it all the same. Let’s see what happens next 🫤 #i485 #widow #unsolicitedevidence #buffalofo #pdmarch2023

Agreed! Submitting evidence won’t hurt but the ‘timeline’ does change which messes with your mental game! You definitely want to provide as much information up front as possible so as not to be delayed by an interview but it’s discouraging seeing your timeline go from 2 to 18!months! USCIS has acknowledged that it’s glitched but it gives me hope! I’ve certainly submitted evidence only to watch my timeline go up and down. I’m wishing you the best! 😂🙏🏼

I have been adding unsolicited evidence when I filed in December 23. The time stamp does reset, but it will not affect the processing time of your case. That timestamp is inaccurate. I would rather add more evidence to make my case stronger than get an RFE or denial. Sometimes add extra evidence is necessary.

@Lolo Duru definitely agree. Submit as much as you can when filing but in some cases… you may need to add more especially if your case isn’t as straightforward. Uploaded evidence for the year since spouse passed🙏

@K 🇺🇸 D 🇭🇳 totally agree. I really don’t pay attention to the Uscis timeline, I’ve seen how it yo yoed with the I130.
