Vawa approval after 3 plus years
after so many years my Vawa is finally approved. all praises belong to God 🥺. I applied for Vawa in sep 2020 and on February 27 (last month) I receive an update that “name was updated” on my Vawa case. two days ago my attorney called me that he received my approval. just wanted to share this info because I know the anxiety and depression that comes with waiting and this info can give others hope. if you’re waiting just hold on a little longer. I only received two prima facie for the entire process. I was able to stay in status with my work permit because they had held my old i485 in abeyance . weeks before my Vawa was approved I received a 5 year work permit and yesterday my advance parole was approved as well. for those who have already obtain their green card through Vawa …. what is next for me ? and how long does it usually takes ?

@maddy s. don’t give up hon. I had my days when I was extremely low but I tried to make the best of what I had. i am still waiting for my green card but I am happy I am a step closer. I pray all of us get approvals and green cards this this year !!! try seeking help from your congress man. I had an inquiry done sometime in 2023.

try congress, try USCIS inquiry, if nothing, you can sue USCIS for a delayed case as a Pro Se. You will get a decision within 60 days. Learn more about it writofmandamususcis.weebly.com

@hope hope for me it was within a month. @M p if I were you , I would start working on getting medical done so that you send back response to RFE the day it comes.

@hope hope i thought you would with immigration physician by now with your previous tests and asking them this Q. Why you moving so slow with your case? let USCIS be slow. lol

@aj only two prima facie and one my attorney had to request. I’ve always had my work permit so I didn’t care too much about the prima facie
