@Lana p at least you got the medical request. I have not received anything. I have sent service request went to my congress and still nothing on my I485 😕

@Joel Sosa I got deficiency notice after a months from approved date. Then 7 months was nothing. So only in January they sent the letter with the address where I should send I-693. But as you see nothing changed. Some people got GC literally after sending their medical. No logic, no line, nothing understandable….

@Joel Sosa by the way I haven’t got any updates. My lawyer called me and told that those letters came.

@Lana p ok… what is you field office? most of the VAWA approved around my date (may 2022) has been approved already I don’t know what else to do 😔

@Joel Sosa New York. I think it depends on it as well. Some offices are less busy than others and it makes difference. Because when I check prosessing time it says that I should not disturb them till April 2024🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ So I am just waiting.

@ Joel Sosa. My case is similar to yours. my VAWA got approved May 2022 still no change on my i485. When I track it, it says fingerprints was taken. I really want to know if there are other people in this kind of situation, so we can uplift each other.

@seun fast track I don’t understand what you are saying… you got your VAWA approved and waiting for RFE? that is not clear FYI once your VAWA is approved next step is the AOS.

@Joel Sosa all I mean Is my Vawa was approved last year that’s my i360 and ever since then I got a letter as regards my i485 but then the details said they would send me another letter on instructions on how to provide my i693 which I’m yet to get after 3months of waiting,so I’m wondering if there’s a way to expedite the case so they can look into it

and also what does AOS mean?

@seun fast track AOS means Adjust of Status

@Sylvia s yes Sylvia once Vawa is approved they send your package to the National Benefits Center then forwarded it to your local field office… once you get the deficiency letter is because your package is in the field office

just sharing my experience: got an interview in Lawrence MA field office on August 2023… I went with my lawyer and everything was fine. The officer told me he would review the case and approved the case if nothing was missing… No further information after that… On Jan 30, 2024. My attorney contact the senate office and we sent an inquiry to USCIS. the senate office got a reply from USCIS on February 20, 2024 saying the case still in Lawrence MA field office and I should receive a decision within 30 days. Today Feb 24,2024 my case change to New Card is Being Produced. guys is hard to say be patients but that is all we can do… Thanks god for my approval and thanks to this group that keep people like me informed about this complex immigration cases thanks
