how did you get the case number of your i485 mine was approved August 5th since that day nothing ,my lawyer told me that we have to wait till USCIS request biometrics

I have a similar timeline to yours. I did a infopass and got a referral number that indicated my I485 is at NBC… no update to my case yet but hoping for medical RFE/ Biometrics or some movement and Approval as soon as possible 🙏😩

@O O i got approved july 17 2024, i called talked to uscis today and they said my 485 is still at vermont 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 i hope this month they transfer my case

mine was approved since June 25th and no movement at all since then, not even an approval notice in the mail. I’ve called USCIS a few times, they keep running a service requests smh.

@reto mont I think some people don’t even get notified that their case has been transferred but check through your service request number @Ty ok your service request number should give you an idea if your case was transferred or not based on the last 3 letters representing the service center.

@Ty ok when I sent an inquiry, my service request number or is it ID had MSC which indicates NBC, it hasn’t updated that my case has been transferred but at least I’m glad it moved from VSC as it was not there a few months ago

@reto mont you can check via the inquiry status you fill out online on USCIS site if your case is out of status… enter your I485 filing date and it will auto populate to determine if you are out of status and can send an inquiry

How did you know it was NBC and no your primary state where you had filed
