Hi guys, I hope you can guide me to a brighter understanding of my situation, Back on February 2023 when my visa category (f2a)was current on both charts my lawyer filled concurrently my I-360 I-485 I-131 I-765, so around April 24 USCIS rejected my package because it was filled to the wrong office(Vermont) so we needed to re file to Nebraska(now my category was not current), anyways USCIS set my priority date as February 16. On June 1st USCIS rejected my form I-485 for insufficient funds, this time I was really mad because this was the second time my lawyer messed up, I ask her what happened, she said that this was a USCIS mistake, I believed her and we submit again the package with the corresponding filling fees and a letter explaining USCIS that at funds were available at all times and they should honored my priority date, I am not sure if they did it or not, since in any of my notifications I can see my priority date. Several months passed, on November 11 my lawyer notified me that I had biometrics appointment on November 22nd for my I-485(code 3), I went to the ASC, everything went smooth and with no issues, couple days after the system updated to Fingerprints were applied to my I-131 and I-485; form I-360 and I-765 did not show any updates, it started to seem weird since we filled them concurrently and were supposed to be updated together (for what I knew at that time), so I asked my lawyer, she just said that it was matter of time until they update them, so I waited patiently until March 28th when I finally decide to attend to her office to collect all my notifications and found out that she did not notified me about other biometric appointment on November 30th. I feel really disappointed about her and hopeless, I already wrote a letter to the Vawa office explaining my situation, and the only concern I have is, Will they use my I-485 fingerprints for my form I-360, or will they just close my case? as today they did not close it yet. and finally Will they still adjudicate my I-131 and I-485? Or Will they just wait until my Vawa approval to finally adjudicate them? Thanks, #vawa #I-485 #I-131 #I-765 #adjusmentofstatus

Your timeline shows that your attorney messed up. All those forms submitted June 13,2023 should have been filed concurrently February 16,2023. There are plenty of attorneys out there that really have no clue what they are doing. It’s painful that you paid a great sum of money and they messed this up. However, if you don’t have the right legal support on this case it could cost you more down the road. I will suggest what other had here: fire your attorney and find another. One with good reviews and well recommended. Many attorneys do payment plans. Don’t play with this. It could cost you more time and money down the road.

@Carla Soares he had 5 star reviews in her page, it was very pricey too. do you think USCIS can still adjudicate I-131 and I-485 ? or it is better to forget about it

@M dR I file I-485 when there were no visas available at that time ? but filling chart allows you to file, will the adjudicate advance parole and work authorization anyways?

But now it seems fine according to your time frame because all your applications are filed together 13 jun and biometrics are also updated, so probably your card will be approved soon.and they are using same biometric all the form like i360 and i765 but it not showing. My case is also the same as yours, my biometrics got updated on 5th March in i485 and after 21 days in I131, I am waiting for the decision

@nick ☺️ @M dR the reason I asked is because my ex wife is a LPR not a us citizen.

@Juan Marin My attorney has free triage consultation. If you’re interested I could give you their number and you contact them about your case because I have no clue what you could do. Maybe you can get your money back depending on circumstances. You should seek legal help.
