Is there any designated day of the week that one shld expect the decision from USCIS or any time?

@Rasheed Abdulwahab I don’t really think so; what truly impacted my experience knowing the “When” was the block number! Once I began to see some movement on cases within my block, In two weeks, my case got adjudicated. So for me, the main takeaway was that the block number was the key factor to track in my process. Relying on the filing date could lead to unrealistic expectations, especially since expedited cases would obviously be processed first. It’s also helpful to use apps with crawlers that provide solid information about the movement within your block and check your case status! regarding the time, for me was at night, but it depends, can be at anytime, as you can see. Good luck with your case!

@Amir H I didn't follow it; for me, the only reliable source to measure timing was by continuously checking my block movements.

congratulations! honestly Is good to know about your approval, since your waiting had been so long like me. sometimes I feel that not hope for me. I did entery my case and I prepared every document and detail during more than 9 months and finally I decided to submit my application on January 2024. I don't want to pay PP because the bulletin is very delayed with my date of filling. but when I read approval like your my mood change completely and I trust again in that I will receive a big approval very soon. if the bulletin continue moving the same way you will be adjust your status on September!!! congrats again

@Gustavo Carmona Thank you! I understand how you feel, but try not to get discouraged—processing times have really increased! My case was adjudicated exactly when USCIS indicated, so it’s possible to see results within that timeframe. As for me, I didn’t pursue the priority processing option at the time in 2023, mainly due to limited resources, and it didn’t seem justified since the wait times were slowly rising. Nowadays, if someone were to ask me, I would definitely recommend going for priority processing right away to get answers as soon as possible. The wait times will likely continue to rise, and it’s best to secure your spot in line. Plus, if any issues arise with your case, you’ll have time to address them quickly. Wishing you the best of luck and a positive outcome!

@J H Thank you so much! To begin with, I didn’t go through the PP because I lacked the necessary resources to make it happen. As I mentioned in my previous comment, I now believe it’s essential, especially since we can see that timelines are significantly increasing! This situation is likely to worsen, considering there are fewer people working in the office, which is not encouraging news. Additionally, I think March and April will be crucial for clearing up as many cases from October, November, and December 2023 as possible. I can still spot some cases left on my block IOE09-2313. If you can manage to get it done, I encourage you to push forward with the PP to secure your position in line! If your case is solid, it should get approved. If not, you’ll find out the reason for the RFE and can address it, but time is of the essence, so act quickly. This is just my perspective; ultimately, do your research and make a decision soon—don’t let more time slip away, each week counts.

@Kar NIW i140-Nov 2023’ thank you for your advice. if I get approved i140 with pp can I apply for i485 right away or I need to wait for filing date to be current? as I found I have Aug-Feb backlogs to be current. I'm kinda confused, waited that long and will require 7 months of waiting for next steps to do, not sure should I go for PP or not, as it cost about $3k :)

@J H The idea behind the Premium Processing (PP) is that if something goes wrong, you can fix it quickly. Consider the worst-case scenario: what if you get denied? In that case, you would need to resubmit your application (that in 2025 is getting worse), and the longer you take to do that, the longer you’ll be delayed in getting in line for the I-485 (I’m 2023, and my line is already bad enough). To avoid this issue, I strongly suggest that everyone consider using Premium Processing now. Of course, this is just my opinion; the final decision is yours. Regarding the I-485, we cannot apply right away because we are not currently eligible; we have to wait (there’s no PP, for it). However, at least if we are in line with the approvals, we won't be left waiting without any updates. I hope my point is clear. Good Luck 🍀!

@Mj Khd First, you can track your case status on any website that utilizes Google crawlers. I don’t do advertising, so just search for "EB2 NIW case status." Second, not everyone is familiar with the case blocks for EB2 NIW, so here’s how it works: the "IOE09" indicates that your application was filed electronically or scanned. The "244X" refers to your specific block number, which is crucial because even a slight change in the last digits can mean your case is at a very different stage than another, such as 2441 versus 2449. Currently, I see that my block number is 2313, and it’s nearly complete, with NOV2023, so I suspect that 2014-2015-2016 will be coming through soon. However, keep in mind that some cases may be expedited because applicants can't wait and choose to apply for priority processing, which can push their cases to the front of the line and delay those without priority. I hope this information is helpful!
