VAWA Timeline (so far)
Hi, guys!
I submitted my case on Nov/12/24.
I filed for the Work Permit, Advance Parole and Adjustment of Status along with the VAWA.
I got the receipts for them on Nov/20/2024.
On Dic/03/24 I got two notices, the first one said that the case was going to be moved from Nebraska to the National Benefit Center in order to speed up processing, the second one said that they were using my biometrics from an old case so I wouldn’t have to show do them again.
On Dic/18/24 I got a Prima Facie Determination on the case.
Do you guys have any guesses on how long would the EAD take after I got the Prima Facie and how long does the NBC take to approve cases? I’d appreciate it!
I’ll try to update any changes on my case.

I-130
My 9-year-old daughter still hasn't received an answer. She is an American citizen. We don't know what to do anymore. We called the office and they told us that the time is normal.

Premium processing/ filling i485 simultaneously
Hi,
I have a question.
My priority date is August 15, 2024, and my I-140 is still pending with the status showing as "actively reviewing." I haven't received a response yet.
Can I request premium processing for my I-140 and simultaneously file my I-485, even though my priority date is not yet current?
green card situation
I am seeking consultation regarding my green card situation under the EB-3 unskilled worker category. My process was initiated through Employer A, with whom I obtained an approved Labor Certification and I-140. Later in the process, I was moved to Employer B under the job portability rule.
I began working for Employer B on my EAD but left after six months due to inconsistent scheduling and insufficient hours from employer . At the time, the attorney handling my case advised that I was not required to continue working until I received my green card.
I have now received my green card, but both the attorney and Employer B are pressuring me to return to work. I would like to understand the legal obligations associated with this situation and the potential consequences if I choose not to return to work for Employer B.
Thank you for your guidance.

Is Pending VAWA considered illegal immigrants
I don’t know if I’m the only one having a little bit of concern and next President mass deportation plans, also considering that fact that I used to travel out of the country with my combo card.
My question is, should there be any reason to be panic under the incoming regime. is it still advisable to travel out of the county as we freely do in the past.
My VAWA filling date May 17th 2022 and still waiting.
I will appreciate everyone opinion.
thank you.
