NVC Payment error
The fees I have to pay in the ceac website just wont work. At first the aos payment got the status paid and i started working on my documents. However after paying the second fee I received an error mail that the payments have been rejected and now it switched back to pay now. What should I do? Anyone else having this peoblem right now. #Error #payment
Can I open police certificate from abroad?
Hi my case is at NVC, I have police clearance certificate required from a country I have previously been for more than 1 year on documents to submit. I have the documents but it's specifically sealed, do I need to open it and upload or take it to my interview at the US embassy?
motion to reopen
Quick question, anyone filed a motion to reopen a case with immigration court without a lawyer?
I do have a lawyer but she charged me $9000 to file for a prosecutorial discretion with DHS, it's been a year now and no response from DHS attorney. now she's telling me best thing to do is to file directly with the judge for an other $5000. I'm not willing to do that so can I do it on my own?

Visitor visa chances while waiting on i824
Hello everyone, please my husband was thinking about making me apply for a B1/B2 visitor visa.
We already have an approved i130 waiting on i824. If I apply and he accompanys me to the interview in Nigeria, will that increase the chances of getting the visitor visa?
Applying for adjustment of status through LPR parents for unmarried and above 21
A friend of mine has a question,
He entered the US with a US vistor visa, his parents are permanent resident (LPR). He is unmarried and over 21, can he apply for adjustment of status (form I-485) through his LPR mom or dad?
Category is Family based (other relative of a U.S. citizen or relative of a lawful permanent resident under the family-based preference categories, form I-130)
If applying through LPR parents is not available, can he apply for adjustment of status through his US citizen brother? under section U.S. Citizen petition for a prefrence relative to become a lawful permenant reaident.
TPS - travel permit
Can you travel internationally with an approved TPS travel authorization without a passport ? i have everything else but for a passport. Immigration collected my passport when i filed for Asylum and now they say its lost. my embassy is refusing to make another one because of my asylum. I am worried about traveling even with this approved tps travel authorization. pls help
Green card holder sponsor spouse
Hi everyone,
I currently have a green card for 2 years now and I’ll be eligible for citizenship in about 3 years(a total of 5 years). I just got married and my spouse overstayed her holiday visa and now I have to file for her(she is currently in the US too). I do see that for the category F2A the priority date is “current” meaning I can file both the i130 and i485 but the issue is I am seeing everywhere that I’ll need a waiver(i601A) because she violated the terms of her visa and because am not a citizen. So right now what will happen if I file for the i485? Will it be automatically be rejected without the waiver or will she be given a work permit until she is called for the interview then get rejected because she doesn’t have the waiver? I am asking because if she can get a work permit for now that will be good while she waits then maybe by the time they call us for the interview I would have been a citizen by then and the waiver will not be necessary. DIY Prosecutorial discretion after temporary green card

I got my green card a year ago thru. I-130 and I-485.
After researching, I'm thinking about DIY PD myself. positive factors (written statement) + supporting documents +luck
Has anyone DIY PD themselves or do you know anyone who DIY PD themselves? Please share your experience.
