So as you know I was following api json updates and the action emails. Most people said when they got 1 email 2 days after they received another then approval. Also they notice that case was looked at a few times between emails. Maybe I’m crazy but it happened in that very order. #widow #I485 #USC

FINALLY I GOT ONE OF THOSE EMAILS
I got “we have taken an action on your case” email 🙌 No updates in documents tab yet and I also know approvals usually come after 2 emails 😂
I did check my JSON and it showed they looked at my case today 2/03 @ 3:28pm. Eventcode is still FTA0 (database checks received). Myprogress tab has also disappeared, which said 8 months last I checked.

hi family, i got hired at Walmart as Regional Cdl driver. But my Job requires Twic/hazmat endorsement within 4 months of hiring date. Pending vawa and i485 is not in the list of mandatory docs from TSA. Can i expedite vawa based on this. Otherwise i am going to Loose this Job. Please help. #vawa #expedite #i485

Can someone help?? Form I824…
Hello friends, I recently received my green card thanks to a Vawa case. Three weeks ago I submitted the I824 form to approve the green card for my children who live in DR. Today I received the package that I sent with a letter rejecting the I824 form because I did not send the $590 payment. However, the page says that if the case is related to a Vawa case, then the fee are waived.
Who can help me??? Thanks! A hug!

Security checks
Good morning fellas, i filled 9/3/2021 and my i360 approved on 9/23/2024, i requested infopass on 12/30/2024, and today i reveiced an email stated that your case is currently delayed bcs the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of the security checks, i just called info pass today, representative said that they do not need any document from me at this moment, once they finish their investigation and addition documents require they will let me know, is anyone experience this ? i already submit fbi background check like 2 years ago. i need help guys any advise will be helpful..its been along jouney.#securitychek #vawa #i485

Domestic Travel ✈️ using DL
I’ve never had anxiety about traveling domestically till this week. Flew from NYC to LAX and I must admit I was definitely on high alert. The uncertainty of the current situation makes me want to stay indoors/local however I am a traveling nurse and many of my clients live in different states.
Did some research a couple months ago which indicated I should qualify for “Real ID” using EAD & SSN with a valid passport however when I went to my local DMV they said I’ll have to wait till I get my GC.
Who else shares this anxiety now with domestic travel using state DL or foreign passport?

Unsolicited Evidence… Do or Don’t?
I’ve been toiling with whether or not I should upload additional evidence to my I485. After sifting through different posts and different sources, I’ve decided why not? So I did and realized, your Timestamp automatically changes when you do… Timeline remaining hasn’t changed (which we all know by now is BS) but I’m keeping tabs on it all the same. Let’s see what happens next 🫤

Filed as a widow with an approved I-130
Shortly after my husband filed the I-130, he got ill and our focused switched. He passed Dec 2023. After which the I-130 was approved March 2024, I was still grieving and had no idea where or if the process could have continued. Finally with research in Aug I decided to get a lawyer and filed to convert my approved petition to I-360 and file I-765 & I-485 concurrently. it’s been a year since my husband passed and I was unable to see him laid to rest in our home country (his dying wish).
Sharing so others in similar situations and not sure how to proceed can get an idea of the timeline
